Working with Students
Are you struggling to know the best way to study? Is it unclear to you how you should take notes, or write essays, or learn key terms? Do you need help working out how to revise effectively? Do you find it hard to manage your time and cope with your workload?
You might feel like everyone else knows what they are doing but, in my experience, very few students know “naturally”, how to study effectively or which revision techniques will work for them. There are lots of apps and websites offering study advice and YouTube videos explaining techniques but navigating these can take considerable time and effort.
Melanie Heale
I have been teaching GCSE and A Level students for 20 years, working with students of varying abilities in a range of schools. In that time I have learned that different study methods work for different students. Success can be achieved by various routes. Let me help you to discover what works best for you. I know that one size seldom fits all when it comes to the best way to study.
Let me help you to suceed with your studies though a one-off consultation or series of academic coaching sessions, which can take place in person or online, designed to help you adjust to the demands of your course and set you on track to achieve your goals.
Choose from one of my packages, such as ‘Stepping up to Sixth’ or allow me to create a bespoke package to address your specific requirements.
